Zoe Fletcher, The Bays Community Group and Rutherglen Estates combine to bring fine art and fine wines to Bays Community Hall, 19 WoyWoy Bay Rd  for one special night, Saturday 16 July at 7.30pm. Art exhibition continues Sunday 11am-4pm.

Zoe has been exhibiting in galleries, at markets and art fairs on the East Coast of Australia for 14 years. Prior to this she ran a fashion business making and selling silk scarves, applique clothing and artwear in England and Western Australia. Her trademark vivid colours and swirling shapes of nature in oils, pastel, silk painting and watercolour have featured in 11 solo and 28 group exhibitions, and her Wingdom animal fantasy series of fine art giclee prints and art cards have retailed from 17 solo displays.

"I have loved colour ever since I can remember. Colour and nature inspire me most of all. The endless patterns on birds, butterflies, animals, sea creatures and plants, on sunsets and skies, feel like a gift from Earth to me.

The exhibition, incorporating original oil paintings on canvas and board, pastel and silk painting, startling prints, and richly coloured silk scarves, will continue on Sunday 17 July, 11am-4pm, for those not able to attend the Wine, Cheese Art evening, or any who would prefer to pick up their art purchase the day after. Zoe will be in attendance, assisted by feng shui consultant, Marlih Jung, for those who would like advice on painting placement in their residence.

 Rutherglen Estates present six of their new season vintages for tasting, from sparkling red starter to after-dinner sticky, with master winemaker Marc Scalzo and his wife, Lisa. Select cheeses and six glasses of wine are included in the $20 ticket price for the Saturday evening. There will be no door sales so tickets must be booked in advance.
